Playgrounds: ΠΧΑΘΗΝΑ

Demetra Katsota & Stephan Buerger

Children and the Built Environment

Buerger Katsota Architects present the project Π.Χ.ΑΘΗΝΑ which proposed a new strategy for redesigning playgrounds. It aimed to intervene in playgrounds in the city with priority in architectural and functional design for kids. By designing original solutions based on the needs of children and parents, a network of interconnected spaces with multiple and harmonized possibilities was intended to be gradually created.
